NEWTEK offer solid solutions in pneumatic conveying systems by pressure and vacuum, with own manufacture elements (registration No. 20 / EP1-35).
Experience we have accumulated over 45 years guarantees that we are able to choose the most suitable system for the characteristics of each product to be transported.
Pneumatic conveying procedures for powdery products and granulates are based on techniques which have been undergoing rapid and continuous evolution over the years. Industries working with bulk materials have applied various methods for pneumatic conveying of powdery, granulated, dry, wet, mixed and prepared materials, and various characteristics of the products to be transported have led to various systems that can be classified, as follows:
- Particles suspended in the air stream or gas.
- Fluidized material current.
- Pressure push of material.
- Cartridges alternating with airbags.
With the “AIR-CAR” system applied by “NEWTEK”, consisting of alternating pressure pushing cartridges of material with pressurized air bags, the disadvantages of other pneumatic conveying procedures have been eliminated, such as:
- Pipeline wear.
- High consumption of compressed air.
- Obstruction of the pipeline.
- Sensitivity to variations in particle size, moisture or composition of the material to be transported.
Typical conveyed products include:
Baby food, alumina, recovered foundry sand, silica sand, clay, sugar, sulphur, barite, bauxite, bentonite, borax, roasted coffee beans, green coffee, limestone, kaolin, calcium carbonate, sodium carbonate, cement, fly ash, cereals, calcium chloride, metallurgical coke, rolled steel, quartz, detergent, titanium dioxide, feldspar, fertilizers, fluorite, dried fruit and nuts, flour, milk powder, litharge, magnesium, carbon black, aluminium oxide, oxide ferric, PVC resins, salt, sodium sulphate, talc, tripolyphosphate, ground glass, glass granules, gypsum, zeolites and many others.
